Young Hollywood unveils World Cup plan

Celebrity video website producer Young Hollywood will launch an online channel focused on the 2014 Fifa World Cup.

The as-yet-unnamed channel – to be established in association with the Momentum Entertainment Group, part of marketing company Momentum Worldwide – will be based in Rio de Janeiro and will focus on celebrity news related to the football tournament.

RJ Williams, the founder and chief executive of Young Hollywood, said: "There's an untold story of the World Cup celebrity experience that Young Hollywood will tell in living colour, in a channel that will lead to new partnerships and content opportunities."

Young Hollywood was launched in 2007 and its content has got more than two billion views across its YoungHollywood.com website and other distribution platforms. It syndicates content to several media partners including YouTube, Hulu, Yahoo and AOL.
