Pay-television broadcaster Sony Pictures Networks has agreed to pay a massive increase in its renewal for England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) rights across the Indian subcontinent from 2023 to 2028.

Sky’s fees for the renewal – and in the current deal – are understood to also incorporate significant outlay on marketing and promotion.
