Olympics: Hong Kong pay-television broadcaster I-Cable Communications acquired the new media rights for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and all media rights for the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver and the 2012 Summer Games in London in a deal worth $16.16m (£8m/€11.8m) with the International Olympic Committee. Free-to-air broadcasters TVB and ATV made a combined offer of about $11m.
