Football: Chinese state broadcaster CCTV acquired the rights for all Fifa events between now and 2014, including the 2010 and 2014 World Cups, in a deal worth about $125m (€83m). The deal, which includes coverage of the women’s World Cup and various junior World Cups, was brokered by the Football Media Services agency.
