The Ali Sports division of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group has struck a deal to become the exclusive global internet business development partner of the China Table Tennis Super League.
The deal will run for the 2016 edition of the competition, which started last Friday, according to the Yutang Sports news service.
Under the agreement, Ali Sports will provide live streaming and on-demand coverage of the league, which is also shown on linear television by state-owned CCTV.
