All Elite Wrestling seals TSN rights deal

Canadian pay-television sports broadcaster TSN has struck a rights agreement with the recently-launched All Elite Wrestling promotion.

TSN will deliver live coverage of the AEW Dynamite show, starting from today (Wednesday).

TSN and TSN Direct subscribers will receive access to the show every Wednesday at 8pm ET across the broadcaster’s digital streaming platforms, including TSN.ca and the TSN app, as well as on the network’s five national television feeds.

Canada’s Chris Jericho, the inaugural and current AEW world champion, is set to feature in upcoming matches alongside the likes of Kenny Omega, who starred in the acclaimed ‘Omega Man: A Wrestling Love Story’ documentary as part of TSN’s ‘Engraved On A Nation’ series.

AEW debuted in May and signed a partnership with US media and entertainment company WarnerMedia ahead of its launch. WarnerMedia provides exclusive multi-platform access for fans to watch AEW events, airing live weekly matches on cable-television broadcaster TNT in prime time, as well as streaming them through OTT platform B/R Live and on pay-per-view.
