Internet giant Amazon has not approached pay-television broadcaster beIN Sports to acquire the latter’s package of Ligue 1 rights, according to the retailer’s head of sports rights acquisitions, Alex Green.
Speaking at the unveiling of Amazon’s French league football offer on Tuesday, Green said: “I have not made any offer on the French market for any other rights to football or other sports.
