The National Basketball Association and Amazon announced a multiyear agreement to stream NBA games exclusively on Amazon's Prime Video in Brazil, marking another major step in both the rights acquisition of Amazon and the ongoing growth in the league's international profile.
Beginning on October 18 with the Boston Celtics against the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Los Angeles Lakers against the Golden State Warriors, the deal allows Prime Video to air up to four exclusive NBA games each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the upcoming regular season, as well as up to 24 playoff games and an abundance of further content.
