Canadian broadcast group Asian Television Network has acquired rights to a host of cricket properties, including deals with the England and Wales Cricket Board and Twenty20 franchise competition the Caribbean Premier League.
Under the deal with the ECB, ATN will broadcast all bi-lateral international series played in England during 2016 and 2017.
ATN will also televise the 2016 CPL, which is currently ongoing.
The broadcaster also confirmed a deal announced earlier this month by Cricket Australia. The deal will run for five years, from 2016-17 to 2020-21. ATN will be the exclusive rights-holder of all men’s and women’s international matches held in Australia, plus the Big Bash League and women’s WBBL domestic T20 competitions.
ATN has also agreed a deal with Cricket Ireland for the three bi-lateral and one tri-series played in the country from 2016 to 2018. All the series acquired will be aired on CBN and ATN Cricket Plus.
ATN already holds the exclusive Canadian rights for the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Cricket South Africa and New Zealand Cricket.
