The Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) has sealed a deal which grants satellite television company DirecTV non-exclusive rights to the Campeonato Uruguayo Femenino, the top division of women's football in the country.
The AUF, reports Uruguayan newspaper El Observador, will now negotiate directly with other broadcasters for rights to the championship, rather than using the Tenfield agency. The AUF has also kept rights to stream the competition though its AUFTV streaming platform.
