The European Broadcasting Union, the consortium of public-service broadcasters, has extended a rights deal with the Austrian Ski Federation for the International Skiing Federation’s World Cup events that are held in the country.
The deal will run for four years, from 2014-15 to 2017-18.
The agreement will cover more than 30 FIS World Cup races that are held in Austria each year.
The deal will include the rights to the two Austrian events during the Alpine Ski World Cup.
The agreement also includes the rights to the two Austrian stages of the Ski Jumping World Cup, as well as the two rounds of the Four Hills Tournament annual ski jumping event that are hosted in the country.
