The B4 Capital agency has struck a deal to distribute global media rights for the Italy national rugby union team.
The exclusive deal with Federazione Italiana Rugby, the sport’s governing body in the country, will run for four years, from 2015-16 to 2018-19.
B4 Capital outbid two rivals for the rights, the federation said.
Financial details were not revealed, but the federation’s president, Alfredo Gavazzi, said that the deal had guaranteed a “significant return” to the governing body.
