Basketball Bundesliga set for weekly free-to-air match after S Nation Media accord

Germany’s Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) will remain available on free-to-air channels following the acquisition of its rights by S Nation Media, the new streaming platform launched by Christian Seifert, former chief executive of the German Football League (DFL).

S Nation announced yesterday (Thursday) that it acquired domestic and international broadcast rights to BBL from 2023-24 to 2028-29, but some of the matches will still be available free of charge.
