German Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich has announced a US content partnership with Microsoft’s web portal MSN.
Under the agreement, the football club will provide MSN with exclusive video and editorial content.
Bayern has claimed the partnership represents a first by stating it will be the maiden sports team to boast a dedicated presence within MSN’s American output.
Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: “The media cooperation with MSN is another important step in our international strategy.”
In April last year, Bayern Munich opened its first overseas office in New York.
