UK public-service broadcaster the BBC has agreed a deal to show coverage of the English Women’s Super League One Spring Series club football competition on its television and online platforms.
The BBC Sport website will stream live coverage of matches when the one-off Spring Series begins later this month.
The live streaming service will commence with the match between Yeovil Town and Liverpool on April 23.
In addition, the BBC Two television channel will broadcast the Women’s Football Show highlights programme.
Pay-television broadcaster BT Sport is the exclusive live broadcaster of the WSL in the UK and last year signed a three-season extension to its rights agreement, covering 2018-19 to 2020-21.
BT Sport will broadcast live Spring Series matches across its television platforms.
