BeIN Media Group is planning to expand its operations by launching movie channels in the Middle East, according to reports.
The Broadcast Pro Middle East website said sports-focused beIN has released promos on its channels announcing the launch of beIN Movies 1 and beIN Movies 2.
The website said the movie channels, which will mainly carry Hollywood content, are thought to be among several non-sports platforms that have been planned as part of an entertainment bouquet that will be rolled out in phases.
There has been no official comment from beIN, but the website added that the bouquet will eventually include entertainment and documentary channels.
