US pay-television broadcaster beIN Sport has announced the appointment of Antonio Briceño as deputy managing director.
In his new role, Briceño will oversee operations, production, marketing, sales and distribution of beIN Sport in North America, along with its Spanish-language channel beIN Sport en Español.
He will also be responsible for the broadcaster’s online and TV Anywhere service beIN Sport Play.
Briceño will report directly to beIN Sport’s managing director, Yousef Al-Obaidly.
Briceño has been with beIN Sport since its inception and was part of the team that oversaw the broadcaster’s US launch. He was also responsible for building the broadcaster’s Miami-based team.
