Pay-television broadcaster beIN Sports and commercial broadcaster M6 have retained the rights for the Uefa Europa League club football competition in France for three seasons, from 2015-16 to 2017-18.
Under the terms of the deal, beIN Sports will continues to hold the rights to all 205 Europa League matches per season. M6’s digital-terrestrial channel W9 will co-broadcast 15 games per season with beIN Sports.
The two broadcasters currently hold the rights to Uefa’s secondary club competition for the 2012-13 to 2014-15 window.
The deal concludes Uefa’s sales process for its main club competitions in France. Earlier this month, beIN Sports and fellow pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus retained their rights to the Champions League from 2015-16 to 2017-18.
