French pay-television broadcaster beIN Sports has agreed a two-year deal for the exclusive rights to football’s German Bundesliga, according to L'Équipe.
The French newspaper said the new deal will cover the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons of the top division of German football.
In March 2012, beIN Sports and pay-television rival Canal Plus acquired rights in France for the Bundesliga and Italian Serie A in deals with the MP & Silva agency covering the 2012-13 to 2014-15 seasons.
The deal was first announced exclusively in the TV Sports Markets newsletter, published on November 28.
