BeIN Sports secures Fransat carriage for new channel

French pay-television broadcaster beIN Sports has broadened the reach of its new beIN Sports 3 channel by agreeing a carriage deal with satellite television operator Fransat.

The Telesatellite.com website said beIN Sports 3 will be available to Fransat customers in the “coming days.”

BeIN Sports 3 launched on September 15 in France and features handball, tennis, volleyball and athletics.

The channel also features football matches, such as domestic top-tier Ligue 1 and Uefa Champions League games, when there are more matches than beIN Sports 1 and 2 can accommodate.
