Pay-television broadcaster beIN Sports has secured rights to Europe’s Ski Classics long-distance cross-country skiing competition in the United States and Canada.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but beIN Sports will commence coverage with this weekend’s Marcialonga race in Trentino, Italy.
BeIN Sports will broadcast coverage of events on its two television channels in the US, as well as its channel and streaming service in Canada.
Ski Classics comprises a series of events in various countries across Europe. The 2015-16 season began with an event in Livigno, Italy, on December 5 and will conclude on April 2 in Åre, Sweden.
