Belgian telcos buoyed by arbitration ruling over Pro League rebates

Belgian telecoms operators Proximus, Telenet and Voo have emerged successful from an arbitration ruling over broadcast rights compensation claims related to the Covid-hit 2019-20 Jupiler Pro League season.

The Belgian Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (Cepani) has been assessing the merits of the trio’s claims for a repayment of a slice of their final broadcast rights fees for the Belgian top flight during the affected season.
