Canadian telecommunication company Bell has agreed a deal to add NBA content to its mobile television service.
The service will now offer the pay-television basketball channel NBA TV Canada as well as NBA programming shown on Bell’s pay-television sports broadcast channel TSN.
Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment-owned NBA TV Canada shows live matches from the NBA as well as magazine shows such as NBA Game Time, Open Court and The Jump.
TSN shows regular-season matches from the NBA as well as the All-Star Game, the play-offs, and the end-of-season Finals.
Wade Oosterman, president of Bell Mobility and Residential Services, and Bell’s chief brand officer, said: “From its debut at Vancouver 2010 through London 2012 to delivering the best basketball, [ice] hockey and [American] football content available in Canada, Bell Mobile TV has quickly become one of the world’s premier mobile services for sports fans.”
