Malawian broadcaster Beta Television has agreed a three-season deal for the rights to the Super League, the top division of club football in the African country.
The Malawi24.com website said Beta Television defeated competition from two rival bidders for the contract, which will run from the 2016 to 2018 seasons of the Super League.
It succeeded with a bid of K266m (€334,000/$379,000) per season. Matindi TV is said to have offered K37.5m per season, while Times TV lodged a bid worth K149.3m on an annual basis.
