Sky nets Chinese Super League rights

UK pay-television broadcaster Sky has acquired rights to club football competition the Chinese Super League.

Sky will begin covering the ongoing 2016 season and will also broadcast the 2017 and 2018 CSL campaigns.

It will broadcast its first CSL game on Saturday as Shanghai Greenland Shenhua takes on Jiangsu Suning.

Italy international Graziano Pelle this month became the latest English Premier League player to move to the CSL, signing for Shandong Luneng from Southampton.
