The 2022-23 season of Australian cricket's Big Bash League is being hailed as a return to form for a competition that had slumped in popularity in recent years.
Foxtel reported its record audience for a BBL match at this year's final, as 548,000 on average watched across its linear and streaming platforms. Foxtel said audiences for its paywalled matches were up 39 per cent on the previous season.
