UK pay-television broadcaster Bike Channel has acquired rights to this year’s Mountain Bike World Cup.
The agreement includes the option to extend for a further two years, covering the 2018 and 2019 editions of the event, which is organised by the International Cycling Union (UCI).
Bike will broadcast live coverage and highlights of each round of this year’s World Cup. Its coverage began at the weekend with the opening round of downhill competitions in Lourdes, France.
This year’s World Cup continues on May 20-21 with an event in Nove Mesto Na Morave, Czech Republic.
