Blinkx partners with GrindMedia to offer extreme sports content

US internet media company Blinkx has partnered with action/adventure sports media company GrindMedia to offer users video content from TransWorld’s new extreme sports channels.

Leveraging its AdHoc platform, Blinkx will place contextually relevant advertising against these videos and share the resulting revenue with GrindMedia.

The new TransWorld channels will offer Blinkx viewers clips covering the likes of skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, BMX and motocross.

Blinkx and GrindMedia said in a statement: “The TransWorld channels will join the existing GrindMedia action sports channels on to create an all-encompassing video destination for extreme sports enthusiasts everywhere.”
