British Eurosport, the UK arm of pan-regional broadcaster Eurosport, has signed a new three-year deal with the International Tennis Federation to broadcast live coverage of its international team competitions – the Davis Cup, Fed Cup and Hopman Cup.
The agreement comes as Great Britain returns to the Davis Cup World Group for the first time in six years when it faces the USA in San Diego from January 31.
Eurosport will show all the action from the tie’s five rubbers, along with extensive live coverage from the first-round meeting between France and Australia over the same weekend.
British Eurosport already boasts three of tennis’ four annual grand slam tournaments – the Australian Open, French Open and US Open – in its rights portfolio.
