UK telecoms company BT has said it expects to take an initial revenue hit of between £300m (€343.3m/$335.9m) to £350m from its joint venture agreement with media group Warner Bros. Discovery, but added it expects “sustainable revenue growth” for the 2023 financial year, and beyond.
Warner Bros. Discovery and BT last month completed their transaction to form a 50:50 JV that combines the assets of pay-television broadcaster BT Sport and the UK arm of international sports broadcaster Eurosport.
