UK pay-television broadcaster BT Sport has agreed a deal to show highlights of this season’s edition of indoor elite track cycling event the Revolution Series.
Coverage will begin on October 27 with an hour-long highlights show of the season opener at Manchester’s National Cycling Centre. The programme will be shown on the BT Sport 2 channel.
BT Sport will also show highlights of round two at Glasgow’s Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome on December 3, as well as rounds three and four at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester on January 7 and February 4.
BT Sport will conclude its highlights coverage with the double bill of racing on March 14 and 15 at the Lee Valley VeloPark in London’s Olympic Park.
Each Revolution Series event combines the Elite Championship, a competition sanctioned by the International Cycling Union, and the under-16s Future Stars event. Double Olympic champions Laura Trott and Jason Kenny are amongst those who will take part.
