Broadcasters sign up for expanded Six Day Series

Sports content company Aurora Media Worldwide has been named as the host broadcaster of the 2016-17 edition of the Six Day Series track cycling competition.

Aurora will produce live daily coverage of the series for international sports broadcaster Eurosport. The coverage will be shown across Europe and in the Asia-Pacific region.

UK pay-television broadcaster Sky will also show next-day highlights of Six Day London, the series’ first event, which takes place from October 25-30 at Lee Valley VeloPark in Queen Elizabeth Park.

Outside broadcast facilities will be provided by broadcast hire and rental specialist Presteigne TV.

Following the London leg, the Six Day Series will feature new events in the Dutch city of Amsterdam from December 6-11, Berlin in Germany from January 19-24 and Copenhagen in Denmark from January 26-31. The series concludes with a one-day, winner-takes-all finale on the Spanish island of Mallorca on March 17.
