The British Touring Car Championship motor racing series has agreed a two-season extension to its partnership with the Haymarket Consumer Media division of UK media company Haymarket Media Group.
Following an initial three-year deal, the extended agreement will cover the 2017 and 2018 BTCC seasons.
Under the deal, Haymarket’s video channels will host official BTCC videos alongside their own exclusive content. Regular features, news, competitions and blogs will also be published by the Autocar brand, both in print and online.
Meanwhile, the Autocar logo will feature on every BTCC car, podium and interview backdrop during the forthcoming two seasons.
Alan Gow, BTCC series director, said: “Having locked down our major broadcasting and sponsorship agreements until 2022, this latest media deal adds yet further stability to our burgeoning series.”
