Germany’s Bundesliga will be shown in Brazil this season by seven different broadcasters and digital platforms, including linear coverage on SporTV, the Globo-owned pay-television network.

Ahead of the start of the league season this weekend, Globo has acquired rights to two fixtures per matchweek during the 2023-24 campaign.

Bundesliga International, the league’s commercial rights arm, is also looking to tap into the recent surge in audiences in Brazil for live streaming on YouTube.

CazéTV, the YouTube channel of Brazilian influencer Casimiro, has already announced an agreement to stream one Bundesliga match per week. This will be supplemented by two weekly matches streamed on Canal Goat, a new football-focused YouTube channel for the Brazilian market.

Nosso Futebol, a channel distributed on the Sky Brasil and Claro platforms as well as YouTube, will also show two matches per week.
Further coverage is in place thanks to a deal announced earlier this month for OneFootball to continue to stream all matches free of charge to Brazilian users in a three-year renewal.
