Cage Warriors, the mixed martial arts championship, agreed a deal with News Corp-owned media company Fox International Channels for live rights to its events in the Middle East in 2012.
Fox will broadcast live coverage of seventeen events during the year across the region on free-to-air satellite channel FX.
The first event of the 2012 Cage Warriors calendar takes place in Beirut, Lebanon, on February 11. Kyle Watson and Tommy Speer, two former fighters from the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the world’s biggest mixed martial arts championship, feature on the evening’s card.
