Sports event organiser Canal Plus Events, a division of French pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus, will be acquired through a management buyout, according to French newspaper Le Parisien.
Canal Plus Events president Jean-Louis Dutaret, operations director Samir Boudjemaa and 15 other employees of the division are expected to complete the acquisition by the end of January 2013, the report said.
Canal Plus put the division up for sale in the summer.
The broadcaster launched Canal Plus Events in 2008 after acquiring event organiser Occade Sport.
