Thierry Thuillier has been appointed as the new head of sport at French pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus.
Thuillier currently works as programme director of France 2, which is operated by French public-service broadcaster France Télévisions. He will start his new role on June 15.
Thuillier succeeds Cyril Linette, who stepped down to become director general of daily sports newspaper L’Equipe in February.
