Pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus Group has continued its growth trajectory, reporting significant rises in subscriber numbers, revenue and Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) for the 2021 financial year.
The results, contained in parent company Vivendi’s annual report, show that by the end of December, Canal Plus’ total subscriber base reached 23.7 million, compared to 22.1 million at the end of December 2020 on a pro forma basis as the broadcaster began to recover from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
