CBS Sports returns as Big3 primary broadcast partner in 2023

CBS Sports will return as the Big3 basketball league's primary domestic broadcast partner in 2023, it has been announced.

CBS will air more than 20 hours of live weekend games next summer when the league returns to its original touring model with games in 10 different cities.

According to the league, viewership was up 14 per cent year-over-year in 2022, with several games recording a record number of viewers.

The full broadcast schedule, cities, and venues will be announced in the coming weeks.

“After the success of last season, it’s cool to continue to blow this league up with CBS,” said Ice Cube, Big3 co-founder. “CBS has been more than an amazing partner by showcasing two to three BIG3 games every weekend on the No. 1 network. They believe in the league and use their unprecedented reach to bring the BIG3 to new heights on the worldwide stage of sports.”

In September, the Big3 announced that its chief executive Chris Hannan has been relieved of his duties and co-founder Ice Cube has been named as his replacement with co-founder Jeff Kwatinetz being named the league’s president.
