The CCTV 5 sports channel, which is operated by state broadcaster CCTV, has acquired media rights for the Trophée des Champions, the annual football match between the winners of the French Ligue 1 and Coupe de France tournaments.
The game, between Ligue 1 winner Paris Saint-Germain and Guingamp, the winner of the Coupe de France, will take place in the Chinese city of Beijing on August 2.
CCTV 5 will provide live coverage of the game, which will be shown live on pay-television broadcaster beIN Sports in France.
