Uefa, European football’s governing body, has agreed deals in Bosnia and Herzegovina with public-service broadcaster BHRT and pay-television operator Telekom Srbija for the Champions League and Europa League from 2012-13 to 2014-15.
Telekom Srbija acquired pay-television rights to all matches from the Champions League, excluding the first-pick Wednesday night match, which commercial broadcaster OBN-TV secured the rights to earlier this year. Telekom Srbija and OBN-TV will share coverage of the semi-finals and final.
Free-to-air broadcaster BHRT acquired rights to the first-pick Tuesday night match from the Champions League, which will also be shown by Telekom Srbija.
BHRT has also been awarded the free-to-air Europa League rights to the first-pick match each match week, and Telekom Srbija has picked up the rights to all matches, including the first-pick match.
BHRT will show its coverage of both competitions across its BHT1, FTV and RTRS channels, while Telekom Srbija’s coverage will be available through its Arena Sports channels. Both broadcasters will also show highlights programming from both competitions.
The deals, brokered by Team Marketing, include internet and mobile rights.
