Caribbean Premier Sports Limited, a joint venture between telcos C&W Communications and Digicel, has launched a dedicated English Premier League channel called ‘Rush’, which will be added to C&W’s Flow platform.
The Rush channel will exclusively broadcast all 380 English Premier League matches in the Caribbean for the next three seasons, from 2019-20 to 2021-22, after CPSL acquired rights from the league earlier this year.
The channel will directly replace Flow’s Premier League channel, which broadcast coverage of the league from 2016-17 to 2018-19, when C&W solely acquired rights. Previously, from 2013-16 to 2015-16, rights were acquired by Digicel, for its subsidiary and pay-television broadcaster SportsMax.
CPSL is owned equally by C&W and Digicel. There has been no announcement yet as to whether Digicel will carry the channel.
Rush will be available in all Flow TV markets: Anguilla; Antigua; Barbados; British Virgin Islands; Cayman; Curacao; Dominica; Grenada; Jamaica; Montserrat; Saint Kitts & Nevis; Saint Lucia; Saint Vincent & the Grenadines; Trinidad & Tobago; and Turks and Caicos.
