MP & Silva’s chief commercial officer Roberto Dalmiglio is to leave the agency at the end of the year, TV Sports Markets understands.
Dalmiglio (pictured) joined MP & Silva in August 2009 as managing director, Europe. He was previously media rights manager – national competitions at Uefa, football’s European governing body, and also worked for the Media Partners agency and Italian media group Mediaset.
When contacted, MP & Silva told TV Sports Markets: “After more than eight years with MP & Silva, Roberto has decided to step down in order to spend more time with his family. He has been a phenomenal force helping the growth of MP & Silva and we wish him the very best in the future.”
In May, a 65-per-cent share in MP & Silva was bought by investment fund Shanghai Xin, a joint venture between financial services company Everbright and technology company Baofeng.
Since the acquisition there have been two changes in the agency’s senior management team. Beatrice Lee, MP & Silva’s managing director of Asia-Pacific was appointed chief executive of Baofeng Sports International, while earlier this month Jochen Lӧsch was named MP & Silva’s new chief executive following the departure of Marco Auletta.
