DAZN Group made an overall loss of $2.33bn (€2.17bn) in 2021, bringing the company's total losses over the past three reported financial years to $5bn, SportBusiness can reveal.

The global multi-platform broadcaster and media group's financial results for 2021 are the company’s heaviest losses to date by any metric. However, DAZN’s operating loss – perhaps the most important aspect of the annual results – was far lower than the total group loss, coming in at $1.36bn. This was still $200m more than DAZN’s operating loss in 2020, which stood at $1.15bn.
