Indian telecommunications group DigiVive has secured mobile streaming rights for the ongoing one-day international cricket tri-series featuring India, Sri Lanka and hosts West Indies.
Along with match broadcasts, customers will be able to watch match highlights in the video on-demand section of DigiVive’s mobile television service, nexGTv. The rights were acquired from Indian subcontinent pay-television broadcaster Taj TV.
DigiVive has previously utilised nexGTv for cricket coverage after picking up the mobile rights for the World Twenty20 and Indian Premier League competitions.
The tri-series sees India and Sri Lanka meet on Tuesday, the first of five remaining matches in the series that culminates in a final on July 11.
