Discovery: Beijing 2022 drove near 50-per-cent rise in new OTT subscribers

Media group Discovery has announced that its discovery+ streaming platform drove a near 50-per-cent increase in the number of new paid streaming subscribers on the back of the recent Beijing 2022 winter Olympics when compared to PyeongChang 2018.

The Beijing Olympics concluded on Sunday, with Discovery hailing record viewership and engagement on its digital platforms for a winter Games.
