Doğan and Doğuş get Champions and Europa League rights in Turkey

Uefa agreed a deal in Turkey for the Champions League and Europa League for three years, from 2012-13 to 2014-15, with the Doğan Holding media group.

Doğan’s pay-television broadcaster DSmart will show a number of live matches from both competitions each match night, as well as highlights. DSmart will also show coverage on the internet and on mobile.

The Doğuş Media Group sublicensed from Doğan the rights for live coverage of the first-pick Tuesday night Champions League match each week, the first-pick Europa League match each week, and the final of both competitions, as well as a weekly highlights programme. Doğuş will show the coverage on its commercial channels Star TV and NTV.

The deal with Doğan was brokered by the Team Marketing agency on behalf of Uefa, European football’s governing body.
