French pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus has secured exclusive media rights to all Uefa club competitions in the first deal struck by the Team Marketing agency across the new 2024-27 cycle.
Following a first-round bid deadline that fell yesterday (Wednesday), the Vivendi-owned broadcaster completed a clean sweep of rights and secured the expanded inventory afforded by the new Uefa Champions League group stage featuring 36 teams – up from 32 – and an increase in matchdays from six to eight.
