Liga ACB, the top division of basketball in Spain, has agreed deals through the MP & Silva agency with the social media platform Facebook and Chinese internet company Tencent for live streaming coverage of this Sunday’s game between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, known as ‘El Clásico’.
International sports broadcaster Eleven Sports Network will also stream live coverage of the game via its social media platforms through its existing deal with the league.
Under the deal with Facebook, the coverage will be available on Liga ACB’s official page on the website to viewers across Asia and Oceania.
In Asia, coverage will be available in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Rep. of Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
In Oceania, the Facebook stream will be accessible in American Samoa, Australia, Christmas Island, Coco (Keeling) Islands, Cook Islands Fiji Islands, French Polynesia, Guam, Kiribati, Micronesia, Fed. States of Northern Mariana Island, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Norfolk Island, Pacific Islands Trust Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna Islands.
In addition to Tencent’s coverage in China, Eleven will stream live coverage of the game on its Facebook page in Belgium, Italy, Singapore, Taiwan and the US.
