Eleven expands Polish presence with new carriage deal

International sports broadcaster Eleven Sports Network has moved to expand its presence in Poland by securing a carriage deal with cable-television operator Multimedia Polska.

The Eleven and Eleven Sports channels are available through Multimedia Polska this week as part of a promotional viewing period.

From February 9, the channels will be sold to Multimedia Polska subscribers for a promotional price, depending on the package they are included in.

Multimedia Polska customers can enjoy a week of live and exclusive football on Eleven beginning today (Monday), with the Spanish LaLiga game between Deportivo de La Coruna and Rayo Vallecano, followed by Italian Serie A action on Tuesday as Sassuolo take on Roma and Polish international Wojciech Szczęsny.

Multi-sport channel Eleven Sports will show men’s ATP World Tour tennis from Sofia, Bulgaria, beginning on February 4, with the NFL American football league’s Super Bowl 50, aired live and exclusive on the night of February 7, as Carolina Panthers face Denver Broncos.

Eleven Sports Network last month also sealed a carriage deal in the country with cable-television operator INEA.
